For several years, I wrote a newsletter and mailed it to teachers and others that were on my mailing list. After a few years, I learned to write web pages and posted my newsletter on the web. The newsletter was a monthly mailing with ideas for teaching activities based on thematic units for kids who were pre-academic learners, and included tips for adapting activities for students with more severe disabilities. In this section of TechnoAbility, I will archive old newsletters and post new ones, including ideas from a variety of sources, including those of you who read and write in to make suggestions and tell me about ideas that worked or didn't work for the kids you worked with.
